Ilex cre. Jenny is a compact, slow-growing evergreen shrub, also known as the Japanese holly 'Jenny', prized for its dense, neat habit and small, dark green leaves that make it an excellent alternative to boxwood. It is used for low hedges, borders, and topiary, thrives in sun to partial shade and well-drained soil, and produces tiny white flowers in spring followed by small black berries in the autumn.
