Dandy's "Guess the Weight of the Bulk Bag" Competition Terms & Conditions
- The promoter of this competition is Dandy's (Chester) Limited, trading as Dandy's.
- The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years and over, excluding employees of Dandy's (Chester) Limited and their immediate family members.
- Entry to the competition is free and no purchase is necessary.
- Entries must be submitted in person, by completing the online form, at the Dandy's stand during the Royal Cheshire Show. Only one entry per person is permitted.
- The prize consists of £1,000 worth of Dandy's products, based on the recommended retail price at the time of redemption. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered.
- The weight of the bulk bag will be determined using Dandy's Trading Standards approved weighbridge. The recorded weighbridge weight shall be final and binding.
- The winner will be the entrant whose guess is closest to the actual weight of the bulk bag.
- The winning weight will be determined by rounding the actual weighbridge weight to the nearest 20kg.
- In the event of two or more entrants submitting the same winning guess, or multiple entrants being equally close to the correct weight, the winner will be selected at random from those qualifying entries.
- The winner will be contacted using the details provided on their entry form within 14 days of the competition closing. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days, Dandy's reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
- The prize must be claimed and redeemed within 12 months of the winner being notified. Any unclaimed or unused portion of the prize after this period will be forfeited.
- The prize is for products supplied by Dandy's only and does not include installation, landscaping services, labour or any third-party products unless agreed in writing by Dandy's.
- By entering this competition, entrants consent to receiving marketing communications from Dandy's by email, telephone, SMS and post. Entrants may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided or by contacting Dandy's directly.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this competition will be processed in accordance with Dandy's Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
- Dandy's reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value should circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
- Dandy's reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition at any time where it becomes necessary to do so.
- By entering the competition, participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
- The promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the competition.
- These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
