Garden Lawn Turf

Turf is a growing crop and therefore an ever changing product. As turf is a perishable product it must be properly laid on properly prepared topsoil.  Once delivered turf must be rolled out and lain within a maximum of two hours and must be watered adequately to encourage rooting.

Please note turf can only be delivered Tuesday to Friday on our standard delivery.  If you wish to have delivery on a Next Day service please contact us for availability.

Weeds

We do not chemically treat our products for weeds. Weeds thrive in warm, wet weather and especially in very fertile soils and composts like our own. Although every care is taken to remove weeds during our screening process we can not guarantee that weed seeds are not present in the soil or compost that you receive. To keep your turf and topsoil organic we suggest pulling up common weeds, when and if they appear, instead of using chemical weed-killers.

Economy Delivery is currently between 3 - 4 working days, or you can choose your preferred date after this.

We use a variety of delivery vehicles and haulage firms to complete our deliveries.

1. If you live in or near Chester, we'll deliver to you ourselves with one of our HGV crane vehicles.
2. If you live elsewhere in the UK we'll use a Pallet Network, who will use a manually operated pallet truck to move the pallet of bag(s) to the kerbside or onto a level, solid surface such as a tarmac drive (not gravel or grass sorry).

Shipping is free to Cheshire, Merseyside and some North Wales postcodes - outside of this area prices start at £19.95.

SQUARE/RECTANGLE:

Width (m) x length (m) = m2

We advise ordering 10% more than needed to allow for offcuts.

(e.g. 2.5m x 5m = 12.5m2 + 10% = 14 m2 rolls required)

CIRCLE:

Measure half the area of your circle (the radius).

radius x radius = radius2 

radius2 x 3.14 (pi) = area

(e.g. for a 5m across circle: 2.5m x 2.5m = 6.25m2 , 6.25m2 x 3.14 = 19.63m2, 19.63m2 + 10% = 22 m2 rolls required)
