Hardwearing Grass Seed
Dandy's hardwearing quality lawn grass seed mixture for lawns, ideal for homes with children and pets. This mixture is fairly low maintenance while also producing a good quality lawn.
Choose from:
"Add to Bulk Bag" - if you purchase a bulk bag we'll pop the seed on top of the bag for delivery.
"Click & Collect" - order online and pick up from our Chester Depot.
"Deliver to me" - your seed will be posted out with our 48 hr courier APC.

30% Ragtime Dwarf Perennial (Ryegrass)
25% Herald Strong C Red Fescue
15% Carmania Slender C Red Fescue
20% Greenfield Chewings Fescue
5% Brooklawn SSMG
5% Highland Bentgrass
Approx coverage:
1kg = 15 to 20m2
2kg = 30 to 40m2
5kg = 70 to 90m2
10kg = 140 to 180m2
What you have ordered, and whereabouts you are, will determine the method of delivery, as well as the cost. When you enter your delivery address at checkout a haulage rate bespoke to your order will be generated.
In general - if you live in or near Chester, we'll deliver to you ourselves with a HGV crane, if you live elsewhere in the UK we'll use a pallet network who will use a manually operated pallet truck to move the pallet of bag(s) to the kerbside or onto a level, solid surface such as a tarmac drive (not gravel or grass sorry).
If you're ordering goods tipped loose in bulk then an 8 wheeler HGV tipper will drop it off. If you have any questions or if you have tight or restricted access, just give us a call on 01244 257584.
Please note small items such as samples, or items valid for free delivery will be shipped with a 48 hr courier or with Royal Mail second class service.
