Our Spent Mushroom Compost is a rich mixture that is easy to work with and gives great results.
This compost is a mix of well rotted organic farmyard manure (horse and chicken muck with straw); it goes by the name "mushroom compost" as, before it gets to us for bagging or blending, it serves a term growing mushrooms (you won't get loads of mushrooms in your borders, fear not).
We can supply you with 3 sizes of bulk bag:
Jumbo Bulk Bag which contains approx 1000ltrs (one cubic metre)
Standard Bulk Bag contains about 750ltrs (same as most builders merchants)
Half Bulk Bag contains approx 500ltrs
Small Handy Bags are approximately 25ltrs and the perfect option if you want a small quantity or if you have access issues and will need to carry through your house or over any walls etc.
